Let’s Talk Brushes

This one goes out to all of my beauty’s who would like to know the best make-up brushes to use to stay gorgeous! When you go shopping for a makeup brush, you’re bombarded with choices. You don’t need as many as you think. Chose 5-6 brushes that you feel you would use the most and don’t be afraid to use them on more then one area of the face. Here’s a little help from us! The following are Beauty with Julie’s TOP 5 Make-up Brushes we just can’t live without! Xo

1. Sigma Tapered Kabuki:
Recently, we discovered this precise concealer application brush which dramatically helps us with the exact placement of concealer on harder to reach areas such as around the eyes and nose, chin, and around the mouth.

Julie’s Tip & Trick – – Use this brush to apply foundation by stippling it over blemishes or dark spots.

2. Sephora Pro Angled Blush Brush:
An angled blush brush that applies powder beautifully and makes contouring and highlighting effortless.

Julie’s Tip & Trick – – Use this brush to highlight above your cheek bones, bridge of nose, cupid’s bow, and chin, as well as to contour cheek bones, sides of nose, jawline, and forehead.

Round Powder Brush3. Sephora Pro Round Powder Brush:

Julie’s Tip & Trick – – Use this brush in circular motions all over the face with your favorite foundation to produce beautiful, flawless airbrushed skin!

Blending Brush5. Sigma Eye Blending Brush:
A must have to blend eye colors together onto the lid with added control. Also used to buff out any harsh lines for a well-blended effect.

Julie’s Tip & Trick – – Use this brush to apply eye colors to your crease or outer corner for a smokey look.  Circular motions make for softer looks.
Angled Brow
6. BONUS! Sigma Angled Brow Brush:
Define your brows with this firm angled edge.  Apply powder and gel products to brows using a sketching motion to achieve a hair-like effect.


Julie’s Tip & Trick – – Use this brush to apply eyeliner to your lower lid using soft, dabbing motions or use the flat side of this brush along the lower eyelid for a dramatic look.
